Community Impact

Our work in the community makes a difference

Research shows that art reduces stress, can help manage unhealthy emotions, increases self-esteem, and decreases loneliness. Time and time again, we receive positive feedback on how students, families, and seniors respond to our programs. Through innovative programming and partnerships, ARTreach has grown to become a nationally recognized leader in the field of art outreach targeting neglected populations.

ARTreach receives funding from the Texas Commission on the Arts for programs and general operations. We are honored to be recognized by the State of Texas for the work we are doing in Texas communities.

We are advocating for education policies that ensure every Texas student receives a well-balanced education, quality fine arts instruction, protected instructional time for arts education, and opportunities to pursue their passion. ARTreach advocacy goals are in alignment with the Texas Commission for the Arts.
