Creative People are needed! Part-time and Volunteers!
Volunteers needed to support community festivals
ARTreach is often asked to provide free art activities at community center and church outreach festivals. Our volunteers may be asked to face paint, loom weave, or lead a variety of engaging craft activities. We are looking for an enthusiastic volunteer that loves art and children, that can support our participation in these festivals by recruiting and coordinating additional volunteers.

Volunteer Coordinator
This person will help new volunteers and teaching artists complete the ARTreach application process including, background checks; follow up, training and placement of new volunteers. The Volunteer Coordinator will need to be able and schedule and conduct orientations at the admin offices, ascertain volunteer interest and abilities, and support the training of volunteers to work in a variety of ARTreach programs serving children, special needs and the elderly. This person will need to track volunteer hours and organize our annual volunteer appreciation luncheon and awards ceremony.

Gallery Exhibition Set Up Crews Needed
These volunteers support the installation of artwork in public venue exhibitions in community venues and gallery events organized by ARTreach. We need volunteers who are skilled in creating eye catching displays that support traveling art exhibitions, corporate installations and gallery events.

Art Supplies and Materials Volunteers
Do you have skills related to organizing garages and closets? We need your help! About 4 hours a month is needed to support art supply storage and inventory upkeep. We are also looking for a volunteer that serve as contact person to secure and inventory donations to ARTreach of art supplies.

 


Art Specialists and Teaching Artists- are invited to submit proposals.
Contact Terri Bieber for Proposal Format. Art Specialists, Professional Teaching Artists are valuable volunteers and may be contracted. Fees range $30-$90 an hour depending on level of skill, program impact, and professional art teaching experience working with at risk populations. Artists with a professional roster listings nationally or locally with Young Audiences, Texas Commission on the Arts, or other professional recommendation is required. New and emerging teaching artists offering programs are piloted in controlled training situations at the ARTreach Studio.

ARTreach Art and Business Internship
This is a Life Skills Work Program. Applicants must be over 21. ARTreach Life Skills Art & Business Training Programs are available to disabled adults. ARTreach Art and Business Training program provides a structured social development opportunity while focusing on work ethic and art career and business skills. Internships are designed to become paid positions. Volunteer positions are also available.
