Program Evaluation
1. We measure improvements in grades, behavior, emotional or physical health, and attitude, as reported by the principal or agency director and participants involved. Indicators are assigned at the beginning and compared at the conclusion of the program. We use a combination of interviews and surveys to collect this information.
2. Our criteria for success are (1) measured project outcomes, (2) positive feedback on our programs and processes by program directors, instructors/mentors, and our agency partners, (3) the level of involvement and interest shown by the agency leadership and liaisons, and finally, (4) whether the programs are incorporated into the agency curricula, especially if the ongoing programs are deemed impactful and successful enough to receive new funding with agency resources.
3. Expected results of an ARTreach program are to improve an individual's physical and/or emotional health and well-being, to improve the quality of life in our communities, and to increase awareness of the impact the arts can have on individuals and their communities.
